Milestones are coming fast!

I have been warned (see comments under crawling post) that these major milestones all start hitting pretty quickly. Well, I was warned, but didn't accept it! Let's try two biggies in the span of a weekend!

Ethan is now holding his bottle on his own, which I thought I would be overjoyed with, but am a little upset that I'm not needed as much anymore. He's also pulling to standing. The latter trick we don't have down perfect yet, hence the struggles and crying this morning, but he can definitely pull it off. It's weird to glance down and see him standing up so big and tall!

We had a fun weekend with my parents - went down to the lake so Heath could do some fishing with my dad, some of his buddies and their sons. Speaking of sons, there are a rash of them being born. The two buddies of my dad's have sons who will be having sons soon. Ethan's going to be surrounded by boys - and if they are anything like their fathers or grandfathers, I'm not sure this is a good thing! :) Charlie and Ryder are both due to be born the end of May, so we are overjoyed that they will be joining us in the ranks of parenthood. All I know is that it's about to get a lot louder around our gatherings!

We took some time to take pictures in the wildflowers - Ethan was trying to crawl away from the camera, but evil paparazzi mom caught him in the act...

You're not kidding about stuff coming fast. In the past three days, E has mastered scooting on her belly, crawling, pulling up and almost walking from item to item hanging on to things. AND she has started saying "no no no no no no!" Wonder where she heard THAT one?! :-)

I know how you feel about the milestones coming quickly! Brock is on the same pace. The other day I looked down and he took a step and then fell! I nearly died! He is trying to keep up with big brother. Let me know the next time you guys will be in town - I would LOVE to meet Ethan and let the boys play. He is such a doll! Have a great week...
