The Lake Athen's Marina puts on a great show each year - it's amazing that such a little town can do such a great show. A lot of people pull out on the boats and watch the fireworks, but our family lake house is situated to where you can see the show great from the lawn.
There was, of course, great food. E. Stone ate his share of cookies, going from person to person begging for them. I lost count after a while, but after a week of not wanting to eat anything because of his surgery, I figured we could let it slide!
E had a blast feeding the geese with his NiNi - I don't know who got more of the bread, but everyone seemed very happy. He loves being out at the lake, running and playing and swimming. It's a great release for him and he sleeps great while we are down there - I think he just wears himself out!
Quick update on the homestudy process - we are all scheduled for Monday the 14th at 2 p.m. - a little later than we wanted, but hopefully everything will move quickly after that - the case worker seems to think a couple of days after would work for placement. We're getting excited!

Hey I called I what I think is your new cel phone, but I wasn't sure if that was the right #.
What a blessing! I am excited for you all. I have followed your journey since Ethan Stone was placed in your home. So excited to 'meet' his baby brothers! YOU ARE BLESSED. My husband and I are foster parents in NY since 2005 with 4 biological daughters hoping to adopt a baby boy. Right now we are fostering a BABY GIRL! WE know God has a plan so no worries. Anyway...I am praying God's will be done for your growing family.
