I didn't take my camera to the splash park, and even if I did we probably wouldn't have gotten any photos. With two boys and water, Mommy and Daddy were very busy just trying to keep us all safe and sound. We had a ton of fun! E. Stone loves the water and the rec center has a great little slide and one-foot play area that is perfect for him. Cash enjoys the water as well and was very content to hang out with Mommy, Daddy and Big Brother in the pool.
On Saturday, my wonderful friends and neighbors Amanda and Barrett threw me a shower! What fun! Amanda even uploaded some photos, which can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.com/adillard/20080802_BritShower. We received so many wonderful gifts, including a beautiful outfit from my friend Kim for Holden to come home from the hospital in and a great play gym from my cousins Tina and Melissa. The play gym has already been put to great use, as Cash thinks that it is the absolute best thing on the planet!
Heath and E. Stone have developed an amazing love of water hoses lately, so the two of them struck out this evening to water the yard. Several other things wound up getting watered as well, including Daddy's car and E. Stone's slide. Everyone had a blast though!
This evening, Daddy snuggled up with both boys to read a new book, "No, No, Yes, Yes." The boys were both all cozy and listening to the story, so I just had to snap a shot - I love that my boys love to read!
This week we are especially thankful for Daddy having a little extra time to spend with us. The boys and I are so proud of him and love him very much! We know that working away from us can be difficult and we know that he has to work very hard to support us and we really appreciate all of his efforts and commitment. It takes a lot to support (almost) three boys and a wife!
Last but not least, here's a picture of our little guy holding his own bottle. I hate this milestone, because it means I'm not needed as much anymore! But, it means that Cash is growing and for that we couldn't be more proud!
Speaking of growing, I've uploaded new pictures on our photo pages from this month. Just go to http://www.chambersadoption.shutterfly.com/ and type in ethan-stone as the password. This will give you access to photos dating back from E. Stone's "gotcha day," so it's a great way to see how much everyone is growing and changing!
