90-Day Bible Challenge - Day Three

Today was the story of Jacob (or as peaks my interests, the story of Rachel and Leah) and Joseph. This is one of my favorite sections of the Bible - it's such a good read! Of course, I also read The Red Tent, so I might add a little imagination to the story, but I still get the true meaning, promise!

The way the challenge ended today, the reader was left hanging... Joseph was about to interperate his first dream for the baker and cup bearer. I feel oftentimes that my life is left in a state of suspense. I want to know what will happen next, I want to force certain situations to meet my strict guidelines. But, while I am left hanging in suspense as to what happens next, I am strongly conforted in knowing that God knows no suspense. Just as he did for Joseph, God has a plan for my life and he knows the ending NOW.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Thanks for letting me know! I also love that story. We actually named our last little guy because of Rachel and Leah... Very interesting story for us as women!

God is sovereign. That is so comforting!

Thanks for going through this with me! I think that I will just follow you on Google connect that way I can keep up! I am still excited about this challenge as well...however, I have already posted tomorrow's reading and I haven't finished today's! Better go! God bless your day tomorrow! Your family is just beautiful...
