I've had several people ask - and I aim to please - so I thought I would share the songs on our site and how they came to be there, or I guess properly, how I chose them.
There are four songs that rotate, so you have to stay on the site for a while to hear them all the way through. There is a complete listing if you scroll all the way down (for those of you reading on Facebook and Reader you will have to go to the real site, www.chambersadoption.blogspot.com).
But, here's the list and the details. There is a song for each of my boys, making four songs total:
Lucky by Jason Mraz - this is Heath's song. Though "lucky" isn't a word that is heard much in my vocabulary, this song describes the many blessings I have in my husband and the joy he brings to me daily.
Sweet, Sweet, Baby by Michelle Featherstone - This is Holden's song. I just love it! It is my favorite song to sing while I am rocking the kids to sleep. I can't think of a better description of my sweet, sweet baby!
Little Wonders by Rob Thomas - E. Stone's song. This is from the Meet the Robinson's soundtrack - a story about foster care and adoption. This song was the first song I heard on the radio when we were driving home from the court house after finding out that E. Stone was coming home. I can't think of a better "twist or turn of fate!"
I'm Yours by Jason Mraz - Cash's song. Again, a song that played on the radio constantly when we were searching God for the right answer in bringing this precious child into our home. We had so many questions and we felt so unequipped to handle the challenge, but somehow this song was a comfort to me. Though not biblical (in the least) it reminded me that I was asking God for guidance regarding a child that was not my own, but His, and he was answering me in the same way that I should always answer Him, "I trust you, I'm Yours."

I love the songs you have chosen. I started a blog and put a couple of them on it!
I've never asked. Just hoped you never changed your playlist. Lucky is one of my faves.
Love,
Unca Marc
