Every time I make lasagna it's different... here's the basic recipe:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 box of whole wheat lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 container of ricotta or cottage cheese
Lots of mozzarella
To make:
Mix beef, ricotta, ricotta or cottage cheese together. Place a small layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 pan then begin to layer noodles, beef mixture, sauce and mozzarella. Continue to layer, ending in a sprinkle of mozzarella. Cover in foil and bake at 350 for up to an hour.
I often add frozen spinach to the mix. My kids don't seem to notice it and it adds a real punch of iron.
