Just getting started

We are just getting started on the journey. We turned our initial paperwork in to the adoption agency on 5/18/2005. We're not sure what to expect now, just waiting on our next steps. I've spoken to several people who have gone through the adoption process and I know we are making the absolute right choice to move forward down this road. I just don't know how I will be with the waiting game! My plan is to post as we go along - with the intention of helping others who are going through the adoption process. I'd also love to make some new friends that are involved in this world. As I said, my husband and I are very new to this, so any stories or advice would be so helpful. God Bless!
