Paperwork is turned in!

We finally turned our big stack of paperwork (and very large check) into the adoption agency yesterday. We're so excited, but a little scared to have all of it out of our hands for now. Heath and I both have doctor's appointments tomorrow morning and the paperwork coming from the doctor is the only thing we are missing. We have a great administrative assistant that works with us from Gladney that helps us make sure everything is turned in and in order. You can't truly understand the amazing blessing this is until you see the pile of paperwork along with the checklist of the forms that you have to gather. How are we supposed to know where our birth certificates are?

It should take the agency about a month to review all of the documents, then we'll be ready for our home study. Once the homestudy is complete and approved, we go on the list! We don't know the wait time from there, but are hopeful that it all goes quickly. We have purchased a car seat and have a bassinet, so we are ready to go as far as bringing home at a moment's notice.
