As many of you likely remember, we received a call from CPS a few weeks ago regarding E. Stone's biological brother. We received word today that both he and the bio mom have been located. Info is a still a bit sketchy, but it is my understanding that they are living in a shelter-type situation, so there are people watching out for the child's well-being to an extent. Considering the length of time it took to locate the baby, there are no outward signs of physical abuse at the time, so CPS cannot remove him. This makes me very angry, but I know there is a protocol that must be followed.
We praise God that this little boy is safe, but know that for him to remain that way there is a lot more work to be done. I have been very vocal about my beliefs on where he should be and the case worker said she will take that into consideration. I know she is just as frustrated with the situation, but she's doing her job and she's doing it right, so in the end I think all will be well.
I should have more to report mid-next week and will post again, but for now, please join us as we pray for this beautiful child of God, who deserves the same chance at a full life as all the rest of us.

How encouraging and frustrating all at the same time. We are praying for the little one's safety and that God's will be done...and that God would grant you peace about the whole situation. We love you all!
