A toothy milestone just for me!

Both of the boys waited until just after they came home to cut their first tooth. Cash's made it's appearance today, just barely breaking above the gum. Since I missed out on some of the other "firsts" this one has always been pretty important to me, so I'm glad Cash waited on us, just like his big brother!

The wonderful foster home that kept Cash safe for us until he was cleared to come home, told us that he loved music, specifically the piano. While my piano days are long over with, Daddy can still play a mean guitar. Cash loved strumming along, but we had to be really quiet because big brother was already asleep!

Speaking of big brother E. Stone, why isn't he in any of these photos? Well, he's been keeping his distance, although this morning when Cash got fussy in the exersaucer he did go over and spin a toy for him, but promptly walked off. He seems to be getting used to the fact that he's here to stay, but still not overly thrilled with it. I did manage to get one photo of the two of them together, but bribed by Elmo playing on the TV behind me, both boys came out with a "spacey" effect in the photo. Oh well, I'll share anyway since they were dressed for church and pretty darn cute!
Last but certainly not least, work has begun on the house! We're excited about the outcome, but ready to get the construction part way over with. Right now, our house has a retractable roof in the new playroom - quite a sight! I'm thinking this won't score well with energy efficiency experts? What a mess!

At this rate, Cash will have a full mouth of teeth before E! We've got two more on the way, about to break through, but we're still a ways away from a full set! ... and just think, your home is in "Extreme Makeover" mode in more ways than one! :-) Exciting times.
