So, where does this leave us? We were granted Permanent Managing Conservatorship of Cash, which does not give us the right to legally adopt him, just yet. Bio mom was given quarterly visits, but she is responsible for setting them all up and paying for hourly supervision. This is huge for us, we had to pay for E. Stone's supervision and she never showed, but it was very pricey!
In essence, it's a slow boat, but we're getting there. We will most likely be able to circle back and legally adopt Cash without any problems next year, but there still is a bit of a risk. If bio mom were to totally turn her life around, hire her own lawyer out of her pocket and go through all of the motions (believe me there are many and they are extremely invasive) she could get Cash back. So, we're not too fearful!
Thank you all for your many prayers... we're getting there and feel so blessed!

Well you have 2 choices, FEAR or FAITH and I think you've practiced #2 for a very long time with this bumpy road. All will work out just the way it's supposed to.
YAY for progress!!
Great news, that sounds like good progress to me. We are still so early in the process it's great to hear of others on the same journey.
