Wearing Orange for Stellan

As you know, I love reading McMamma's blog - www.mycharmingkids.net. Yesterday, little Stellan underwent surgery and people across the globe wore orange in support of him, his surgeons and his recovery efforts. We are wearing orange today* to keep up the prayer support for Stellan as he continues to recover from such a risky surgery. Here's Cash sporting his orange...


This shirt happens to be a very special orange shirt, an orange shirt with super powers, if you will. This is the shirt my good friend Amanda made for Cash to help him remember that their family is praying for him during all of the court dates and adoption process. I thought that was such a sweet idea and it's a special treasure to us.

When Stellan was in surgery yesterday, we were in court. Both outcomes were not fast fixes to the situation, but both outcomes were amazing blessings. God has such special plans for these little boys and I hope that he uses these two situations only for His glory!

*In no way were we wearing our orange today because we forgot yesterday! Well okay, we forgot to put the orange on, but we FOR SURE remembered to pray for Stellan!
