Are you trying to dry the clothes from when the dryer was broken?

either the boys were "shopping" again or you needed help taking the clothes to the bedroom.
Someone got a hold of the clothes on the floor by the bed and decided to help "wash" them in water they could reach?

the correct answer I'm sure is: your dryer was broken
much more fun answer: you were teaching the boys the basics on deers (or other horned animals) fighting. (seriously the pic kind of looks like you made animals out of the shopping carts in a monty python type of form.)
drying out snow clothes?
I think you gave the boys a bath....and things went awry as the often do over here!
