Make-up and a Winner

I've worn the same make-up for quite a while now.  Like, since high school when I started wearing make-up.  I did switch from a pressed powder to a mineral powder about five years ago, but we'll not count that as a real "change."

Since I've crossed over a new decade mark, I figured a make-up overhaul was in order.  So, since I'm super fancy, I headed to the drug store - with a stack of coupons.  I really like Maybeline's mineral powder.  I started using it a few years ago as a cheaper alternative to Bare Minerals, which I still like, but feel the Maybeline brand does just as well with a much smaller price point. I was just feeling that I needed a bit more coverage... so I stayed within the same brand and bought a concealer and base.  It went on smooth and doesn't feel cakey, so I'm liking it.

I also thought I should update my lipsticks and eyeshadows.  I think that the ones I was using were from a Christmas set that my mom gave me two years ago... but it might have been three, I'm not sure.  Either way, that can't be good.  Doesn't this stuff expire at some point? I bought a good olive color set for eyeshadow and a good basic lipstick/gloss.

So, I think I've got a bit of a new look... not different, per se, but a little updated.  It makes me feel better, I was starting to notice some dark circles!

I know it's Wednesday and you guys have been dying to get an answer to my last What's This...

Many of you guessed right, or super close, so I drew a winner at random and Kristen is the lucky girl!  Shoot me your address and I'll get your card organizer in the mail to you!

This, unfortunately, is a bunch of pages out of my sweet husband's library book - a very expensive, hard cover library book, I might add.  Ahhhh... kids!

I recently bought some neutrogena lip gloss. In case you find any coupons for it - I really like it. Not much of a makeup girl, here. :) And the book? Oh no! Definitely a "learning opportunity", huh?

You need to post a picture of you with your new "face" on so we can see the finished product!
