Welcome to all Christmas Card people!

Just wanted to pass along a big Howdy to all of you who are reading our blog for the first time. Since we put the blog address on the back of our Christmas cards, I figured there would be a few of you that were new to reading our blog - or maybe even new to blogging in general.

Heath and I started this blog to help update friends and family regarding our adoption process. I try my best to update it each time we have some new news about the adoption. We actually started writing the blog before anyone knew what was going on and I plan to use the blog as a type of virtual diary for our child once they get old enough to understand.

You can scroll through the months on the left hand side of the page to see the story from beginning to end. Since a blog works like a diary, it's almost best to read the story backwards, starting at the first month's postings and ending with this one. As I update, you'll already know the back story and can read just the new stuff.

Typical Christmas Letter Stuff:
This year, Heath and I have also been blessed with the opportunity to help with our 20-month-old cousin Scott. He is the biggest blessing in our lives and we look forward to each block of time we get to spend with him. He stays with us a lot on weekends and I often post a few pictures of him on the site - mainly because he's just too cute for words!

Heath and I are doing well and keeping busy. I still work for The Kula Group and was excited to sign my first big client recently - although the process to get there was quite stressful! Heath continues to work for E-surance and enjoys the atmosphere there with his many buddies that also work there. We feel extremely blessed to have jobs and be able to provide for our family. We have become involved in our new church, Christ United Methodist, and have the best Sunday School class. We go to the contemporary worship service there and the sermons are amazing! If you ever need a pick-me-up, go to
www.fullcourtworship.org and listen to the sermons. They stream them for everyone to listen to later and share with friends.

Thank you all for being such an amazing part of our lives. Thank you also for the many prayers that constantly pour in on our behalf. Knowing that there are others out there that are praying and pulling for us is definitely making this "waiting" period for the adoption a lot easier to take. God bless you all as we head into 2007!
