Promised Pics... and a doctor update

In the land of E, life is pretty grand! He's been using daddy's wake skate for some balance lessons and tearing into life (pun intended).

Here's the king himself after a royal playdate at our friend's Oliver and Gabriella's house. Their mom, Amanda, set up an amazing playdate with crafts for the kids and the moms. I made a great bag-tag for E, while he perfected his sticker crown with Elmo.

So here's my big question for the month of January... How much does a roll of toilet paper cost? Those of you who know me well, know I'm really bad at math, but any way you figure it, it's got to be cheaper than hiring a babysitter for 45 minutes. This roll here kept Ethan-Stone busy for a total of 45 minutes, which makes me think the money (and resulting mess) are WELL worth it!

Last but not least, the first belly pic. I just got back from the doctor and she's very pleased with the way everything looks. Little bit #2 is about grape sized now, and I'm hoping by some miracle weighs about 5 pounds, because that's how much I've gained! The heartbeat is still a bit on the fast side (173), but well within normal range. It's such an amazing sound to hear!

I completely agree with the comment about the TP. Occasionally, we let E tear into the newspaper (she loves the classifieds)....the mess is worth her distraction! :-)

You look great and E is too cute as usual! Plus the ob/gyn in me says you have a uterus and amniotic fluid to make up the 5 pound difference ;) Glad to hear everything is going wonderfully!

Thanks Rea - I so needed that. And that's what I was thinking, don't I need maternal stores or something! I think that lady at my OB office has some unrealistic expectations!
