And.... We're sick...

For the first time since E's been home (almost exactly a year), he's sick. We went to the doctor this morning and ruled out flu and strep, so it's just a virus, but my poor baby feels bad. I am beginning to have a new appreciation for moms of extra clingy children. Ethan-Stone has always been fairly independent, but today he just wants to be near me and held all the time. Part of me does enjoy the cuddles, but I hate that he has to feel so bad for me to get them!

Since it's a virus, there really isn't much we can do except Tylenol and Motrin for fever and some Benedryl at night. We're having to watch his ears closely because they are full of fluid but not yet infected. Since E's asleep in his crib - rare for today - I think I'm going to lay down for a bit as well.
